CAA CHAMPS!!!!!!
WAHOOOO!! What a great weekend for Tiger Lax!! Last Friday, we defeated George Mason by one point in the CAA semi-final game. It was just a great game, each team played hard and the game came down to the last shot!! Our senior goalie, Mandy Corry, had a tremendous save in the last seconds of play, and it was just the perfect end to a fantastic game. In the championship game on Sunday, we faced William and Mary and played one of our best games of the year. We defeated them 16-7 to take home our 2nd CAA Title in four years. The weekend was such an amazing experience and I'm so proud of the way the players came out and competed!!
With our win, we received a ticket to the NCAA tournament, where we will face Syracuse in the first round. Our game is at 3:30 this Sunday at Syracuse so if you are in the area come check us out!! GO TIGERS!!!
